Career path

From laboratory operations to technology company operations

My professional path began in medical laboratories, where I developed practical experience in phlebotomy, sample handling, clinical microbiology, laboratory quality procedures, inventory follow-up, patient coordination, and independent shift responsibility.

Working in laboratories taught me that reliable outcomes depend on more than technical knowledge. They require accurate records, clear procedures, careful follow-up, appropriate escalation, and consistent responsibility.

While continuing my laboratory career, I completed a Master of Science in Microbiology. My research focused on soil-derived actinomycetes and their ability to produce metabolites with antimicrobial activity. I carried out the main microbiological experiments, prepared results and visual materials, wrote the thesis and original manuscript drafts, and contributed as second author to two scientific publications.

In 2024, I joined Quanizon as a Personal Assistant during the theoretical writing stage of my master’s degree. My initial responsibilities involved data entry, file organization, administrative support, and routine follow-up.

In November 2025, I was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. My responsibilities expanded into structured follow-up across employees, projects, hours, payroll data, attendance, expenses, payments, performance, recruitment, and internal operational workflows.

Today, I am developing a professional direction that brings together:

  • Business operations
  • Project and employee follow-up
  • Workflow development
  • Product-development participation
  • Medical microbiology
  • Scientific research
  • Scientific and technology collaboration

Handled laboratory operations, payments, revenue records, inventory, patient concerns, physician coordination, and practical training for new employees and trainees.

    Key responsibilities

Strongest shift-level laboratory operations experience. The laboratory often served more than ten patients per shift, with another staff member present because of workload.

    • Opened, closed, and secured the laboratory; managed assigned shifts.

Science → Operations

How My Scientific Background Supports Operations

Scientific research and operations may appear to be separate fields, but they rely on many of the same habits.

  1. Observation

Understanding what actually happened rather than relying on assumptions.

  2. Documentation

Maintaining accurate records that can be reviewed and compared.

  3. Investigation

Identifying why a result, project, employee record, or workflow differs from expectations.

  4. Risk reduction

Protecting important work through backup procedures, early action, and structured follow-up.

  5. Continuous testing

Reviewing a process or system progressively and improving it based on real use.
